As an integral part of the Fraser Valley community for over 20 years, we have mobilized hundreds of thousands of dollars, thousands of people and innumerable other resources for the benefit of all residents who dependant upon the social, voluntary and not-for-profit sector. United Way supports the social service needs of our community by investing in programs and services that help people, improve their lives and contribute to a strong and caring community.We provide services and support to a family of 35 Member Agencies, and deliver services to hundreds of other non-profit and charitable organizations in all communities throughout the Central and Upper Fraser Valley. We also provide "Impact Grants" to a select number of other organizations that are working on special projects for long term, systemic change in social priorities within our communities. Our general services organizations include program and impact on priority issues funding, organizational and board development and leadership training, volunteer support and resources, collaborative research initiatives and community development.
