Overview

Serving the area from Aldergrove and Mission east to Boston Bar, UWFV covers a large geographic area with an equally large diversity in residents.

Last year’s campaign raised $827,341, the highest results in the past 27 years. Eighty per cent of this total was generously donated by Fraser Valley employees. 

The funds raised annually provide essential social service grants to 27 local agencies to ensure that there is a strong safety net of services available to individuals in need throughout the community. One in four Fraser Valley residents use services the United Way supports.

United Way also provided $125,000 in priority grants that address the issues that the community has identified as the most critical:

Besides fundraising, United Way is also involved in community development. Bringing together like-minded people, groups, agencies, governments and businesses, UWFV is creating partnerships to invest in the future of our communities.
